  • Two Day Workshop: Feature Build (5-2 & 5-3-2020)

Looking for more information and hands on experience building arches, stiles, corners and more?  This workshop is for you!  Our most advanced workshop for 2020. Participants will be guided through the building of several features that are relatively common in modern landscaping, and are also part of the DSWA-GB Master Craftsman Test. As part of this workshop we will be building several arches, a square corner and a squeeze stile.

  • 4.70/5.20 Curved wall & Cheek End Feature Build (10th Aniv. Part 1)

    - Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9am to 5pm each day.

Learn and build curves, cheek ends, and retaining walls! Come and join us for completing the Dutton Farm wall of which 900ft has been rebuilt over the past 10 years through Stone Trust Workshops.  This will be run as a combined 5.20 Feature build course for those with less experience (just 1 prior workshop needed), and a 4.70 Walling Day for those who are already Level II or higher DSWA-GB Certified.

    - Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm each day.

Building a dry stone sphere is challenging task, much appreciated by people of all skill levels. To celebrate 10 years of service for the preservation of the craft of dry stone walling we are paying our respect to the artistic side of the craft. Participants will get to learn about and gain experience splitting and trimming slate, as well as how to approach stacking for complex features, and setting up guides for keeping the geometry true.
