Our August schedule opens with a 2-Day Introduction to Dry Stone Walling in Mont Vernon, NH on August 1 and 2. We’ve got 3 spots left. Sign up now!
Mid-August presents women with the opportunity to learn from other women who are professional wallers at the Women’s Intro in Dummerston on August 15. Or come to The Stone Trust Center for the August 16 Intro workshop to learn and apply the principles of building aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound dry stone walls.
We want to support the 20 people anticipating fall certification tests on September 17 and 18. Eleven intend to achieve Level 1 Initial certification, seven seek Level 2 Intermediate certification, and two are challenging themselves to accomplish the second part of the Level 3 Advanced certification test. We expect examiners from North America and Great Britain (fingers crossed on travel!).
These workshops help testers be sure they’re ready:
Cheek Ends, Mont Vernon, 8/1 & 2–Especially important for people trying to jump the “level 2 hurdle.” One spot left.
Test Prep Workshop, Dummerston, 8/16–Learn tips and techniques to help you pass your test, all while practicing on some of the stone walls used for the tests. You’ll build approximately the amount of wall required for the test. The day begins with 1 hour of instruction, includes 1/2 hour of instruction mid-day, and finishes with 1 hour of evaluation at the end of the workshop. If you can’t make the August test prep, prep the test on September 12.
