Farm to Table/Stone to Wall
Sept 28-30 at Topsy Farms, Amherst Island, Ontario
Dry Stone Canada is pleased to announce that they are going back to Amherst Island for our 2018 festival. Thier host is Topsy Farms, a long established sheep farm. They’ll be using stone collected from the property to build 80-100 foot mixed granite/limestone wall near the barn.
This festival celebrates the roots of dry stone walling: building walls to support farming and highlights the interconnection between local food and farmers and dry stone walling craft and tradition.
