On September 8, Board President Dan Peterson presented a webinar, Designing for Dry Stone Walling in the Landscape, to the Ecological Landscape Association. Fifty people tuned in and over 100 signed up to view after the broadcast. You can view Dan’s presentation, Focus on Sustainability, on YouTube. Of specialist interest: habitat creation, microclimates, and water conservation by farmers in Haiti.

Congratulations, 2021 Nonprofit Fundraising & Development Certificate Grads!

On September 8, twenty-two Vermont nonprofit professionals presented Strategic Development and Fundraising Plans created through course work with Common Good Vermont. These plans thoughtfully and intentionally address how to provide the resources that enable your organization to achieve its goals. You can view the list of participants and the organizations they represent, including Amy-Louise Pfeffer, Executive Director of the Stone Trust. The certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising & Development supplements her certificate in Nonprofit Management earned in 2020.
