ExpiredOne-Day Retaining Wall Workshop
- Retaining Wall Workshop
October 1, 2016
8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Workshop Level: 2. Up to 8 participants with one Certified Instructor. Open to those who have taken at least one Level 1 workshop (or are experienced wallers). $270
Here in the North East, many of the walls people are building are retaining walls. While all the principals of a free standing wall apply there are additional rules and methods to follow when building retaining walls. The focus needs to be on a sound structure that will last for generations. Local round fieldstone will be used for this wall. The rules and principals learned here can be applied to all retaining walls whether hand-built or built with large stones and equipment.
Learn tips and techniques for structurally sound retaining walls.
This workshop will follow the typical one-day format. The workshop will run 8:30am-4:30pm with 1/2 hour lunch break. Licensed Landscape Architects can receive 7.5 LA CES credits for participating in this workshop.
