3.70 Walling Day: May 4 and/or May 5
May 4, 2019 - May 5, 2019
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Come join some skilled DSWA-GB wallers and Certified Master Craftsmen, building a new section of wall at The Stone Trust Center on Scott Farm. We have a retaining wall site all prepped out, and stone to use up. Maybe we can even work in some fun details or walling styles. Herringbone anyone? Most of the available material is rounded glacial used on many walls at the center. The wall will be built on the bank that extends from the current retaining wall in the masters feature park.
Master Craftsmen Jared Flynn, Brian Post and perhaps even Dan Snow will be on site. This is a great time to work on practicing your walling, learning some new tricks and networking with fellow wallers.
Come Saturday, Sunday or both. Just select the ticket you want below. Don’t forget Saturday Evening Susan Allport will be giving a great presentation about the rich history of Dry Stone Walls in New England.
Professional Members come for free.
