
Andras Lazar is a DSWA-GB Level II certified and a certified instructor. He was born in Hungary in 1950. In 1956 his family escaped during the revolt against the Russian occupation. He became a U.S. citizen in 1962, grew up in the Boston area, mostly Brookline MA, and moved to New Hampshire in 1976 where he started doing masonry. In recent years most of his work has been building or restoring stone walls and the construction of brick and stone patios, stone steps and walkways featuring the use of reclaimed granite and indigenous stone landscape features. He has also built many Rumford style fireplaces, bake ovens and masonry heaters with brick and stone,
