Jamie Masefield

JAMIE MASEFIELD is inspired by the ancient craft of dry stone masonry and feels passionate that it has an important role to play in a modern society.

Jamie lives in Vermont where he works with a wide variety of building and landscaping professionals as well as adventurous homeowners. He has worked throughout the northeast US and in Canada and England.

He currently holds Advanced Level of Certification with The Dry Stone Wallers Association of Great Britian (DSWA) and is a certified DSWA walling instructor. Jamie is also a member of the Vermont Nursery and Landscape Association.

Participants will learn how to maximize strength for a retaining wall while following the basic rules. Foundations, drainage, perforated pipe, filter fabric, geo-textiles and more are all discussed or demonstrated. This workshop is intended to give you the information to make wise decisions on your own projects. It is well suited for both homeowners and contractors. PREREQUISITE:  any 1.00 level course, or 2.10, or 2.13
