The seven people in this Introduction to Dry Stone Walls workshop brought a range of experience, as is often case. A couple arrived with landscape design degrees to inform their application of the 5 basic rules of dry stone walling. A women arrived with her tactile childhood memory of moving huge stones under the direction of her father. One person brought experience from a trail building workshop. Several others came having stacked stones to fit. All of the men and women who spent a pleasant Sunday at the Stone Trust Center hail from New England. Each expressed a high degree of satisfaction with the experience.Under the tutelage of instructors Jerry and Kim Coggin, they learned what they came for and had a good time.
