The weather couldn’t have better! A beautiful fall day in Vermont at The Stone Trust greeted our workshop participants this past Saturday for a lovely day of walling and camaraderie. The day included a great deal of one on one instruction and personal interaction, which provided an excellent venue for individualized question and answer dialog between the instructors and workshop participants.
The Introductory workshops attract a wide range of people. A father and his son came to learn together. A retiree wanting to learn how to build walls for his camp. A landscape architect earning CEUs and prepping for wall building in his retirement. And some just thought it would be an interesting craft to learn! Everyone had an excellent time learning and building, both walls and friendships.
DSWA certified instructors for the day were Kim Coggin, Jerry Coggin, and Sam Brakeley (making his debut!).
