June Waller of the Month: Daniel Peterson

DANIEL PETERSON (Minnesota) — Based in Minneapolis, Dan focuses on ecologically sound, full service landscape design and installation. A majority of his projects involve restorative practices incorporating native plant communities, permaculture practices, water management, and dry stone construction. Daniel holds Level III advanced dry stone certification and dry stone teaching certification. He also currently serves as president on the Board of Directors for the Stone Trust.

FEATURED IMAGE: An Asian inspired courtyard garden with a strong Feng Shui influence in Minneapolis. The project was completed in two phases with the first phase focusing on the interior garden stonework and plantings. The second phase involved the building of the fence, gate, and entry retaining walls.
