Spring Outdoor 2 Day Workshop

This 2 day workshop is open to everyone from beginners to experienced wallers.  As the Dutton farm wall where we have run many workshops is now completely repaired we will be using this workshop to continue building our Masters Features Park at The Stone Trust Center on the Scott Farm.

Our lead instructor will be Chris Tanguay of Yarmouth ME.  Chris is a highly experienced waller and teacher, and is a Certified DSWA Master Craftsmen (level 4) as well as a DSWA certified  instructor.  Chris is also a certified master craftsmen from the Dry Stone Conservancy in Kentucky.  We are excited to be offering a workshop with such a distinguished waller in the lead!

In addition to building several sections of freestanding wall we will be building a squeeze style, round end, and high wall.  Experienced wallers will be able to work on some of these features along side several local certified wallers and instructors who will also be volunteering for the weekend.

Two day workshops offer more hands on time working with stone, and more time for questions about participants individual projects.  With many talented wallers and instructors around throughout the weekend the workshop provides an amazing learning experience for all.  Saturday night there is often a group dinner at a local restaurant followed by an evening presentation about stone walls.

Licensed Landscape Architects can receive 15 LA CES credit hours for attending this workshop.
