Spring Volunteer Days

Come help the stone trust set up for the spring’s upcoming workshops.   Volunteer days are best for those who have attended a prior workshop, are registered for an upcoming one, or are certified wallers.  However, anyone can come!

Friday April 6th:  We will be setting up for our stairs workshop and our flagging workshop.  We will be moving big stones for steps, cutting flagging stones with saws, and much more.

Tuesday May 1st:   We will begin to set up for our feature build workshop and the spring test day.  We will be moving and sorting stone, excavating for the new wall base and more

Friday May 4th:  We will be finishing set up for our spring feature build and other events.  We will be setting up large upright stones, batter frames and more.

All volunteer days will run 9am to 4pm, and all are at the The Stone Trust Center in Dummerston VT at Scott Farm.  We will provide a light lunch for those who come.  Come prepared to move rocks with work clothes and boots.

Volunteer days are great fun and give volunteers time to interact and network with experienced wallers.  In addition to helping out the Stone Trust you may also be exposed to new skills, tools, and more beyond what you learn in workshops.

Volunteers can come for a part day or a full day, just let us know when you are available.

If you are interested in coming please fill out the form below so we can provide you with more details:
