Many people, professionals and enthusiasts alike, have asked us to cluster skill-building workshops so they can learn a lot in one trip. Our 2021 offerings respond to that request. Come in to Vermont to learn at April and July Medley Weekends. Or come in October to our first Medley Weekend in New Hampshire.

We offer two sessions of this one-day workshop to engage participants in applying the 5 basics of dry stone walling. An excellent introduction to dry stone walling for the homeowner, landscaper/gardener, artist, or hobbyist. The July 9 workshop is open to all. On July 10, our women’s workshop presents a chance to learn from the first two women in North America who gained dry stone wall instructor certification!

At this workshop you spend the day learning about how to shape stones for use in dry stone walls. Participants are introduced to a variety of stone types, and how to work with them. Come learn to use both hand and power tools.
