Thank You to Our Corporate Members

The Stone Trust’s corporate members help us preserve and advance the art and craft of dry stone walling in various ways:

Semya Stone has provided Green Mountain Granite for a bridge built in New Hampshire, as well as for cheek ends for walls in our Stone Wall Park. They reference The Stone Trust as an educational resource and provide a link on their website. What a generous donation of beautiful stone and your promotional space! Thank you.

Annual funding from Black River Quarries helps support our bottom line, for which we are especially grateful in this pandemic season, which has disrupted the flow of workshop revenues. In addition, the quarries supply stone to a number of Stone Trust professional members. No stone, no dry stone walls!

Stoneyard, Inc. generously provides a reliable indoor workshop site in order to provide contractors with off-season training. In addition, Stoneyard provides  the stone helps to promote Stone Trust workshops.

Northland Landscape Nursery provides a reliable workshop site, as well as the stone with which Dan Peterson builds the infrastructure necessary for teaching Stone Trust workshops in Minnesota.

The Stone Trust knows that people across North America want to learn dry stone walling skills from our certified instructors, as well as to earn Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain certification themselves. We know that they want to travel less and learn more. We are working to satisfy our constituents’ desires by offering intensive learning opportunities. Our corporate members help us continue to build capacity to reach people where they are. Thank you!
