The Stone Trust partners with the Windham Regional Career Center to train wallers

It’s pretty clear from our professional members  that wallers love the work and that there’s lots of work out there. It’s also part of our mission to build a professional pipeline. So we couldn’t pass up the chance to connect The Stone Trust expertise to local high school students, incumbent workers, and professional contractors through the Windham Regional Career Center in a spring 2020 course.

Participants engage 30 hours of on-site training, 6 hours of classroom instruction and a full day of DSWA Level I certification testing.

Brainchild of former The Stone Trust Board President Peter Welch, who will teach the course, classes run on Thursday evenings for 8 sessions starting March 5. Three all-day Saturday sessions take place at The Stone Trust Center.

The course is open to 8 participants. Funding is available to cover course tuition.  More information on the course and class times as well as registration is at https://www.windhamcareerconnections.com/classes/wrcc-stone-trust-dry-stone-walling-spring-2020/
