“Here’s a project I’m just finishing up on an 1860 farmhouse which is ancient by California standards. I’m also remodeling the house. The native serpentine I hand gathered, about 15 tons. For hearting I used a lot of broken concrete. Throughstones and capstones were a major challenge. 5 ton OK Sweetwater for flagstones, 1000 lbs gatordust grouting, all set on 10 tons of road base. I used a cedar log and used brick from the site. The carbide mason’s chipper and bell hammer worked great. Thanks again for the seminar, I had a splendid time! Best, Tom”
